2 elements sit on a photograph or a gradient, where a contrast ratio cannot honestly be calculated. They are counted here rather than left out, because a report that quietly drops what it could not measure is choosing its own score.

What is checked

  • Contrast, against what is actually behind the text rather than what the stylesheet says should be, in every theme the site ships.
  • That every control, link and image says what it is — a button that is only an icon does not exist to a screen reader.
  • Landmarks and heading order: one main region, one page heading, and no skipped levels.
  • That nothing reorders the page for somebody using a keyboard.
  • And separately: that nothing overflows the screen and nothing is too small to press.

Pages covered

This is the sample, stated plainly. A page not on this list has not been measured.

One clean report is a snapshot. A run of them is the part that means something.
