The installer runs, the database fills up, an administrator is created, the last page says it is done — and then the site shows you the first step of the installer again. However many times you try.
What to do: download Convoro 1.0.3 again — the build published on 10 August 2026 or later — unpack it over the top, and open the site. If your database was already filled in by the earlier attempt the installer will say so and let you carry on rather than starting over. Nothing needs deleting and no data is lost.
What was wrong. The download was missing its config/ directory — the files that tell Convoro how to read its own settings. The installer connects using the details you type in, so it always worked; every request afterwards had nothing to connect with. Convoro decides whether a site is installed by checking that a settings file exists and that migrations have run, so a site it could not connect to looked like a site nobody had installed yet — and it offered the installer again.
🚨 Installing with the table prefix box cleared did the same thing, for a related reason: an empty prefix was being read as "no prefix given, use the default", so the tables were created without one and looked for with one. Also fixed. If you cleared that box, you can now leave it clear.
Both faults are in every download before 1.0.3. If you are installing fresh, use 1.0.3.
